815 Media is excited to announce its partnership with Call2Recycle, the only free rechargeable battery and cellphone collection program in North America. In cooperation with the Princeton Chamber of Commerce, 815 Media has established and will be maintaining a collection point at the Chamber office, located at 435 S. Main Street in Princeton.
Rechargeable batteries are a long-lasting power source for many electronic devices, including laptop computers, cellphones, cordless power tools, cameras and tablets. Since 1996, over 75 million pounds of rechargeable batteries and cellphones have been collected through the Call2Recycle program. 815 Media is proud to be a member of this growing network.
What We Can Accept:
We are able to accept any type of mobile phone regardless of make, model, or age. For batteries, we can accept all rechargeable batteries up to 11 pounds including Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, Li-Ion, Ni-Zn and SSLA/Pb. More information can be found at http://www.call2recycle.org/what-can-i-recycle/.
Recycling these items is easy! Simply bring your item to the Chamber office during normal business hours, and look for our collection box. Place your item in the provided bag, seal it, and drop it into the box. That’s it.
